Her and her dental assistant team are so friendly and they really care about helping you perfect your teeth and smile. I was diagnosed with Class III malocclusion (underbite) that required double jaw surgery to correct. Dr. Garcia teamed up with my oral surgeon Dr. Alicea to help correct the alignment of my jaws along with straightening my teeth. I urge you to please work on improving your hygiene practices. I recently visited this practice and I had and still have confidence in their Orthodontic expertise. I am however, still perplexed by their hygiene practices (or lack thereof). Please review the guidelines on appropriate use of hand sanitizers. The doctor took hand sanitizer but instead of rubbing it as recommended, took paper towels to wipe it off. This is neither adequate or appropriate. Let’s talk about face masks. Face masks are not changed between patients. Furthermore, they touch the patient’s mouth, then touch the facemask as they try to ‘fix it’ then put those hands right back into the patient’s mouth. They then proceed to the next patient using the same mask and the same situation repeats itself. Perhaps, if you change masks between patients or at the very least, wear the masks appropriately (where it is fitted over your nose and not hanging) then there would be no need to touch it to ‘fix it’ while performing care of the patients. This is not an issue of a single staff. Many staff members do not follow appropriate hygiene including the doctor. Please review these practices will all of your staff. My family would really like to continue care at your practice but we are very concerned about these practices.

We were in Orlando on vacation last week and my son needed to have a wire trimmed on his braces that was poking him and causing a lot of discomfort. I found this practice as it was close to our hotel and called not knowing if they would even see a patient who wasn't under their care. The doctor is a very kind honest woman and her staff are very knowledgeable and patient. April 2nd I went in for my consultation- April 4th they got my braces on- I realized one was lose (I had a crown) I called and they got checked out by the doctor and one of the lovely orthodontists assistants Millie.
